Terms of service

By creating a DockLift Roster account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

DockLift Roster is a tool for recording dock and boat lift service work. The season lists, equipment records and repair log are a convenience: always follow the dock and lift manufacturer's installation and safety guidance, and never put a dock or lift in the water that you think is unsafe. We aren't responsible for damage to docks, lifts, boats or shorelines, injuries, missed jobs, or what you charge your customers.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The general manager controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but features and user logins above the Free plan stop working until you upgrade again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep DockLift Roster running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using DockLift Roster at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
